One of the most anticipated releases of the summer is getting closer, and if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can start getting ready. As of today, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers can be pre-loaded on Xbox Series through the service, with a size of 32.08 GB and no need to change regions.

The game will debut in a few days as a Day One title on Game Pass, and its arrival marks the premiere of a new soulslike game with a dark atmosphere and oriental touches. Additionally, given its size, it’s likely that the physical version will include the full game on disc.

In WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, you’ll play as Wuchang, a pirate warrior who suffers from amnesia and is afflicted with the strange Feathered disease. Your journey will take you through the dark territories of Shu, as you improve your weapons, learn new skills, and absorb the power of fallen enemies.

You’ll be able to modify your combat style thanks to the use of the rare Red Mercury, which allows you to unlock unique techniques. Additionally, the weapon upgrade and enchantment system lets you adapt your approach to combat in a completely personalized way. All of this is set against a carefully crafted visual experience that’s challenging and heavily inspired by the classics of the genre.
