Undoubtedly, like many Xbox players, you’ve tried to locate the usual 10-hour trial that often accompanies major Electronic Arts releases through EA Play. In the case of Battlefield 6, this option is still not available, which has surprised a large part of the community after three weeks since its official release.

Normally, EA games debut on the service with an early trial version or limited access before their full release. On this occasion, it hasn’t happened on the release date or in the following weeks, which makes us think that the company might be preparing a later implementation or under special conditions.
Battlefield 6 still lacks its free trial on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass
For now, Battlefield 6 does not appear in the EA Play trial library, neither from the Xbox app nor through the Store. This means that, for the time being, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers cannot enjoy those classic ten hours of free gameplay before deciding whether to buy it or not.
- Electronic Arts has not yet offered an official explanation, but it could be a strategic decision to maintain focus on the title’s initial sales before opening temporary access. It’s worth remembering that Battlefield 6 includes a full campaign, in addition to the multiplayer mode and the new REDSEC mode, which has just been released as a free independent experience.
At Generación Xbox, we’ll be keeping an eye on any updates from EA or DICE regarding the arrival of this EA Play trial version, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available for download. As of today, it’s not active in the Xbox Store or from the console itself, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to try it out without cost.
