We’ve just entered the month of August, and with it, we’re officially starting the final stretch of the year when companies release their biggest titles, which usually kicks off in September. However, 2023 is shaping up to be an absolute madness in terms of games, and we won’t even get a break this summer with some major AAA releases on the horizon.
The final months of the year are going to be really exciting, with a ton of new and highly anticipated games coming our way, including big hitters like the new CoD, which is expected to be Modern Warfare 3. This title will continue the reboot that started in 2019 and had its sequel last year.
We’ll see details of Modern Warfare 3 in just a few days
We’ve already had some significant leaks about this new game in the series, which have since been confirmed. Among them is what appears to be the game’s official cover art, although neither Activision nor Infinity Ward has confirmed it.
Despite everything, we’ll get the official reveal of Modern Warfare 3’s art next week, or so the official Twitter account has confirmed. They even managed to sneak in a small joke.

We’ll need to stay tuned for any revelations about this new Modern Warfare 3, which promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year. This is nothing new for CoD, but this time it’s even more significant since it belongs to the most popular sub-series in the franchise, alongside Black Ops.
