Every month, Xbox Game Pass renews its catalog with new releases and also with departures that, although not always announced in advance, can be predicted by observing the usual rotation pattern. On this occasion, several games are likely to leave the service at the end of July 2025, based on the date they were originally added.

Xbox usually keeps third-party games for a period of 12 months or less, especially if they are not part of extended agreements. By reviewing titles that arrived between July and August of last year, the following list shows probable candidates for their imminent departure.

All these titles show the Game Pass icon on the console, and their incorporation date coincides with previous departure cycles. Especially, cases like Mafia: Definitive Edition or Sea of Stars were included in August 2023, which places their possible withdrawal date around the end of this month.

• It’s worth remembering that Xbox doesn’t always announce with much advance notice which games are leaving Game Pass, so if you’re in the middle of a game or had a story pending, now is the best time to complete it.
