If you played Battlefield 6 or REDSEC and found it tedious to complete challenges to unlock class kits, this is great news. The latest update released by DICE and Ripple Effect has significantly simplified the requirements for many tasks that previously required hours of gameplay.
Until now, some missions required almost impossible figures, such as reviving dozens of teammates or causing thousands of damage points with a specific type of weapon. From today, progress will be much more agile and accessible to all players.
How to unlock class kits faster in Battlefield 6 and REDSEC
With the new patch, class assignment screen tasks have been redesigned so that each player can progress without needing to play hundreds of matches. Here are some examples of the most notable changes:
-
The Assault Soldier mission, which previously required reviving 50 teammates, now only requires 5.
-
The Assault Rifle challenge reduces its total damage requirement from 10,000 to 3,000 points.
-
Tests linked to secondary devices have also been simplified, with fewer eliminations required and more map freedom.
These adjustments allow you to unlock alternative gear and extra devices for each type of soldier in a much faster and less frustrating way.
No extra rewards for completing difficult challenges
Although the changes have been well received by the community, there are no additional rewards for completing missions in their original difficulty. Nevertheless, players highlight that the new balance makes progress more fair and satisfying.
The studio has confirmed that it will continue to monitor progression statistics and that new adjustments may arrive in future updates, focusing on secondary weapons and vehicles.
