Xbox is once again playing coy on social media, and this time it’s with a big-budget title. In the last few hours, the official Xbox Game Pass account has posted a visual teaser that many players have quickly identified as a direct reference to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
The shared image shows a close-up of the Ikran, the flying mount that’s unlocked after several hours of gameplay and is one of the most recognizable elements of the experience. Although Xbox hasn’t explicitly mentioned the game, the nod is clear enough for the community to assume that its arrival on the service could be announced very soon.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is heading to Xbox Game Pass
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was originally released in 2023 and stood out for its visuals, scale, and how it brought the Avatar universe to life in the game. The use of flight, vertical exploration, and natural environments were some of its major selling points from day one.
For now, Xbox hasn’t officially confirmed its arrival on Game Pass or given a release date, but this type of teaser usually precedes imminent announcements within the service’s monthly updates. If confirmed, it would be a significant addition to the catalog, strengthening the presence of recent AAA productions.
Here at Generación Xbox, we’ll be keeping an eye on any official communication and will keep you updated as soon as the announcement is made public, but everything suggests that Pandora could become one of the new destinations for Xbox Game Pass subscribers very soon.
