In recent hours, Undead Labs has released an urgent notice to its community to stop a scam circulating among players and potential job candidates at the studio. According to the studio, a group of scammers is posing as recruiters, contacting people with supposed job offers and interviews for non-existent positions.

This type of practice not only aims to deceive those who dream of working in the video game industry but also puts personal and financial data at risk. The team emphasizes that all legitimate communication is sent exclusively from official email addresses with the @undeadlabs.com domain.

How to Identify and Avoid the Scam of Fake Recruiters

Undead Labs stresses that it will never request personal information or schedule interviews through social media, instant messaging, or unofficial channels. Any contact that does not come from their usual channels should be considered suspicious.

The studio advises following these steps if you receive a message that raises doubts:

• Verify the email address to confirm it comes from the official domain.

• Do not share personal data such as ID, banking information, or passwords.

• Contact the studio directly to confirm the authenticity of the message.

• Block and report the sender on the corresponding platform.
