Ubisoft has made another move and added 11 new games to the Microsoft store on PC, expanding its digital catalog just as a major release approaches for Windows players: the arrival of the ROG Xbox Ally, the new portable device focused on the Xbox experience.
Although many of these games were previously only available on Steam or Ubisoft Connect, they can now be purchased directly from the Microsoft Store, making installation, game synchronization, and use of integrated achievements in the Xbox PC ecosystem easier.

What is the ROG Xbox Ally and why does it matter?
The ROG Xbox Ally is the new version of the ASUS gaming portable, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. It’s a portable device with Windows 11 optimized for playing on Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft Store, with direct access to the Xbox ecosystem on PC: your games, your account, your achievements, your library… everything unified.
With its 7-inch screen, AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme architecture, and design inspired by a portable console, the ROG Xbox Ally is presented as the most direct alternative to Steam Deck, but with a much deeper integration into the Xbox environment. Its release is scheduled for this month of August, and it’s expected that Microsoft will reinforce its digital catalog on PC with more news for this device.
The arrival of these Ubisoft games is another step in that direction: offering more optimized, accessible, and ready-to-play titles from your Microsoft account, without relying on external launchers. Although they’re not Play Anywhere, they do integrate into your Xbox profile, which improves the mobile and multi-platform gaming experience.
Are you going to try out the ROG Xbox Ally? Well, you now have more games available directly from the Microsoft Store.
