August has begun with a new promotion on one of the lesser-known digital game platforms for many users: Stove. This store, managed by Smilegate, has launched a limited-time campaign where you can get two titles completely free on PC, without needing to pay anything… as long as you complete a simple daily condition.

The process isn’t immediate, but it’s very accessible: just log in every day and launch a small free game for a few seconds. If you do it for at least 10 days, you’ll get the first title free of charge. If you reach 15 days, you’ll also get the second one. You have until August 31, 2025, to complete the process, and both rewards will be yours forever.

Free games available for PC in August 2025

These are the two titles you can get for free with this promotion:

• Lempo (requires logging in for 10 days): a psychological horror game in first person, inspired by Finnish mythology. It takes you into a mystical and dark world that you’ll have to escape before it consumes your mind.

• Born of Bread (requires logging in for 15 days): a humorous RPG in 2.5D with turn-based combat in the style of Paper Mario, where you control a small being made of flour in an adventure full of humor and peculiar characters.

Both games usually cost between 16€ and 20€, so the promotion means a significant savings for those who claim them.

How to get Born of Bread and Lempo for free?

The promotion will be active from August 1 to August 31, 2025, and requires you to complete a small daily task. Here’s exactly how it works:

1. Install the Stove client on your PC
   You can download it from the official website if you don’t have it yet.

2. Every day, run the free game Riichi City

   • You only need to open it for a few seconds.

   • You can search for it directly from the Stove client or follow this direct link to the game.

3. Access the daily rewards page

   • After opening Riichi City, go to this promotion page (may vary depending on the day).

   • Claim your daily reward with just one click.

4. Repeat the process for several consecutive days

   • If you claim 10 daily rewards, you’ll get the psychological horror game Lempo for free.

   • If you reach 15 days, you’ll also unlock the turn-based RPG Born of Bread, inspired by Paper Mario.

Both games will be added to your Stove library permanently once you’ve reached the required number of days. However, the promotion ends on August 31, so it’s best to start as soon as possible to reach the 15 days needed.

Both games are delivered in a permanent digital version for PC, and you can play them directly from the Stove platform without additional DRM.
