We’re moving forward in 2026, a year that promises to be one of the greatest and most intense in the video game industry, with a packed calendar of major releases throughout the months. We’ve already seen some exciting launches recently, such as Marathon and Resident Evil: Requiem.
We’re aware of many more projects that, although still without a specific release date, are expected to launch at some point this year. Tides of Annihilation is one of the most notable examples.
Tides of Annihilation will feature next-generation lighting
This title was unveiled a few weeks ago and left us breathless with its fast-paced gameplay and stunning visuals.
Tides of Annihilation confirmed months ago that it will arrive on PC, ready to take advantage of the latest technologies, including DLSS 4. Nvidia is now showcasing this in a new trailer, which demonstrates the use of PathTracing to enhance lighting and DLSS 4.5 for improved performance.
Tides of Annihilation still doesn’t have a release date, but based on everything we’ve seen, it shouldn’t be long before the launch date is confirmed for PC and Xbox consoles. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this.
