Ubisoft has activated 60 frames per second in three highly recognized deliveries of the Far Cry saga on Xbox Series. From now on, those who have these games in their library can return to them with a clear improvement in the sensation of control and overall fluidity, without needing to purchase new versions or additional content.
The change affects three very different titles, but united by a common denominator: they now take better advantage of current hardware to offer a much smoother experience, especially in combat and exploration.
Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, and Primal now run at 60 FPS on Xbox Series
The games that have received this improvement are Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and Far Cry Primal. In all cases, the patch unlocks the framerate up to 60 FPS, resulting in a more immediate response and greater stability during action.
Ubisoft has not detailed any additional changes in resolution or graphics quality, so the update focuses exclusively on performance. Even so, the difference is noticeable compared to the versions that were previously limited to 30 FPS on console.
With this move, the company continues to strengthen its classic catalog on Xbox Series, making it easier for these Far Cry games to be enjoyed today with a more technically suitable level for current consoles. A perfect excuse to return to the chaos… or to discover them for the first time with the best possible fluidity.
More frames. Same chaos.
