Just a few days after its official release, the new work of Team Cherry has already received its first update. The patch aims to stabilize the experience, correcting errors reported by the community and adjusting certain playable aspects that were generating frustration among players.

Among the most notable new features are changes in the difficulty of the first bosses, an improvement in the game’s economy, and the correction of several technical issues that could block progress. Additionally, the developers have confirmed that the update will arrive on all platforms throughout the next week, although it is already possible to try it out on PC through a beta available on Steam and GOG.
Hollow Knight: Silksong updates to version 1.0.28470
Patch 1.0.28470 includes a long list of adjustments and new features. These are the main changes confirmed by Team Cherry:

Correction of an error that left the player without a cape after the escape sequence from the Slab.

Problems that prevented completing the Infestation Operation and Beast in the Bells missions in the final stretch of the game have been solved.

Adjustments have been made to the downward rebound on certain projectiles that caused the character to float.

Correction of inaccessible messenger deliveries in Act 3.

A fault with the Lace tool that could block battles in Deep Docks has been solved.

Errors with enemies such as Silk Snippers or Claw Mirrors that could get stuck or generate incorrect behaviors have been fixed.

The Snitch Pick bug that did not grant the expected rewards has been fixed.

The forced floating entry (down + jump after obtaining the Faydown Cloak) has been eliminated.

Reduction in the difficulty of the initial bosses Moorwing and Sister Splinter.

Decrease in the damage of the Sandcarvers.

Economic adjustments: reduction in the price of mid-game banks and bells, and increase in the rewards for relic rosaries, cylinders, and messenger deliveries.

Several minor corrections and improvements have been made.
With these changes, Team Cherry aims to better balance the initial difficulty curve and offer rewards that are more in line with the player’s effort. A first update that arrives quickly after the release and marks the beginning of post-launch support for Hollow Knight: Silksong.
