With just over two weeks to go before the official launch of the new ASUS and Xbox portables, the first unboxing of the ROG Xbox Ally X has already surfaced, showcasing the most advanced model in the family. The video provides a detailed look at the device’s presentation, packaging, and included accessories.

The portable console, set to hit stores on October 16th, boasts packaging similar to that of the Xbox Series consoles launched in 2020: clean design, console front and center, and a charging cable included in the box. Although some European retailers listed the absence of an adapter, this first look confirms that it will be available in key markets like the United States and the United Kingdom.

The ROG Xbox Ally Makes Its Debut in Its First Unboxing

• The unboxing makes it clear that Microsoft and ASUS are betting on a premium experience, starting with the box itself. Additionally, the portable console includes three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, direct access to the Xbox ecosystem with a dedicated Game Bar on Windows 11, a unified library with games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and other stores, as well as ergonomic grips inspired by the official Xbox controller.

With pre-orders open in over 38 countries, and 8 additional markets joining on October 16th (such as Egypt, South Africa, or Ukraine), the excitement for this portable console continues to grow.
