With the June update now available, Xbox has completely revamped the Game Hubs system. This is an improvement that directly affects how we interact with our games, both on console and through the mobile app. Now, each title has a dynamic and updated hub that brings together all the important data in one place.
This new feature aims to offer a clearer, more organized, and more useful experience, eliminating unnecessary steps when searching for information about your progress, active events, additional content, or even community news.
Game Hubs updates on Xbox: more information and better accessibility
From now on, each game you have installed or have played recently will show a specific hub accessible directly from your library, profile, or from the start menu if you have it pinned. The main sections include:
-
Progress summary: unlocked achievements, playtime, and progress in story mode or active challenges.
-
Recent activities: played matches, saved clips, captures, game events, or temporary missions.
-
News and community: recent developer posts, important updates, or highlighted community messages.
-
Quick access: direct button to start the game, visit its additional content store, or view related recommendations.
Other relevant changes
- One of the major changes is that these Game Hubs can also be accessed from the official Xbox mobile app (iOS and Android), which has already integrated this feature in its beta version. This allows you to view your progress, manage content, and receive related notifications, even when you’re not in front of the console.
- Additionally, if the game in question is part of Xbox Game Pass, you’ll also see information about its stay in the service, direct links to available extensions or DLC, and options to share it easily with your friends.
The interface of these new hubs is completely visual and adapts to the appearance of each game, showing official art, recent captures, and animated backgrounds. This reinforces the feeling that each title has its own space within your Xbox ecosystem.
Another interesting advantage is that the Game Hubs allow you to mark certain titles as “priorities” so they show up first on your start page and you receive notifications about their updates. Ideal for staying up-to-date if you’re waiting for a seasonal event, important patch, or new content.
In short, the new Game Hubs significantly improve the way we explore and manage our relationship with games. No more manually searching for achievements, data, or updates: everything is integrated into a single panel, accessible from console, mobile, or cloud.
