There’s less and less time left until the release of Pragmata, Capcom’s new intellectual property that has been sparking curiosity among gamers for years. After several periods of silence and delays, the project is back in the spotlight thanks to the first data shared by the company itself.
According to Capcom, through the game’s official X account, the Pragmata demo has already surpassed 2 million players since its release. Additionally, the title has also reached another 2 million users who have added it to their wishlist, a figure that reflects the interest this new adventure is generating.
Pragmata demo reaches 2 million players before its release
The numbers shared by Capcom point to a promising start for the game. The demo has allowed many players to try out the title’s proposal for the first time, centered on the relationship between Hugh and the android Diana, protagonists of this futuristic adventure.
In addition to showcasing part of its gameplay, the demo has also served to demonstrate the potential of the RE Engine, Capcom’s graphics engine that has already been used in several of the company’s most recent titles.
With these numbers on the table, interest in the game seems to be growing just as there are four weeks left until its official release. Pragmata will debut on April 16th on PC and consoles, at which point we’ll know if this new IP manages to establish itself as one of the year’s standout releases.
