We’ve been discussing the conflict with physical format on Xbox Series for many weeks, and the lack of it in Microsoft’s own games. One of the most notable cases in recent times was that of The Outer Worlds 2. The game was presented for pre-orders in stores as CIAB, meaning it would include a code inside to download the game.

This news had a ripple effect; undoubtedly, it did, because it was also known that the PlayStation 5 version of the game would come on disc, something that was not very normal.
