The Outer Worlds 2 has just received the patch 1.1.0.0 update, now available on all platforms. The update doesn’t just focus on minor tweaks: it introduces new community-requested features, improves quality of life, and fixes a wide range of errors affecting both missions and combat systems.
Obsidian has confirmed that the goal of this update is to reinforce the game’s overall stability and polish key systems following weeks of feedback.

In addition to these improvements, the patch addresses numerous unexpected closures, mission blocking issues, NPC problems, progression errors, audio glitches, and companion behavior issues.
In combat, AI routines have been adjusted for enemies to seek better cover and react more coherently. Issues with abilities, perks, and stealth damage have also been fixed, and damage prediction accuracy has been improved.
The technical aspect receives multiple visual improvements, collision fixes, lighting adjustments, and performance optimization in specific areas. Animations, interface, and sound have also been reviewed to prevent freezing, persistent audio effects, and subtitle errors.
