STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl continues to evolve and GSC Game World has detailed the new features that will come with the update 1.6, a patch that aims to make the survival experience in the Exclusion Zone more realistic and intense.
The studio has confirmed that the most notable change will be a complete rebalancing of loot, making every chest, drawer, or hidden stash have more valuable and relevant rewards. “We know players want to find something really useful when exploring, and now checking every nook and cranny will be more important than ever“, explained GSC on social media.
What’s coming in STALKER 2’s update 1.6
The patch isn’t just about loot: it will have a direct impact on gameplay and enhance the immersion of the main campaign, side missions, and free exploration of the map. Among the confirmed new features are:
