Kick expands its presence and takes a significant step within the Xbox ecosystem with the official launch of its streaming app on Xbox Series and Xbox One, now available for free download from the Xbox Store on the console. The arrival of the app allows direct access to live streams, creators, and chats from the console, without the need for external devices.
The application has been published by Kick Streaming Pty Ltd in the entertainment category and takes up only 6.4 MB, making it clear that it’s a lightweight experience designed for quick and direct content consumption from the couch. Its release date is December 17, 2025, as stated on the official page.
Kick on Xbox: live streams, chat, and creators from the console
The Kick app on Xbox allows watching live streams, exploring channels, and participating in chat, replicating the platform’s main experience on the console. It’s focused on content consumption, so it doesn’t include live streaming features from Xbox, at least in this first version.
Kick stands out for its alternative approach to streaming, with a more creator-friendly revenue model and a clear bet on active communities. The arrival on Xbox reinforces that strategy and makes it easier for users to follow live streams from top creators directly from their console, without relying on their mobile device or browser.
The application is compatible with both Xbox Series and Xbox One, has a PEGI rating oriented towards parental supervision, and can now be added to the library from the Xbox digital store.
