After months in limited early access through its own client, Arena Breakout Infinite is preparing to take a decisive leap. On September 15, 2025, the title will officially launch in its version 1.0 and can be downloaded for free on Steam and the Epic Games Store, expanding its reach to millions of players.
The move coincides with the arrival of a massive update that will transform the gaming experience. One of the most celebrated new features will be the complete elimination of Pay To Win mechanics, an aspect that had generated many complaints within the community since its early access release.
Arena Breakout Infinite Leaves Pay To Win Behind
- Until now, players could buy the Koen currency with real money, allowing immediate access to high-level weapons, armor, and resources. This broke the balance of a genre where losing loot is part of the gameplay tension.
- With the new economy, Arena Breakout Infinite moves closer to the philosophy of games like Escape From Tarkov or the recent Delta Force. Now, progression will depend exclusively on skill and the risk each user is willing to take in each incursion.
Additionally, each season will offer challenges that will unlock a 3×3 safety box, with 9 inventory spaces to store objects that will not be lost even if the player falls in combat. A mechanic that balances risk and reward without the need for real-money spending.
More Content, Maps, and an Unexpected Collaboration
The release of version 1.0 not only brings economic adjustments but also additional content. The patch will introduce new weapons, a Farm zone expansion, the possibility of exploring the hideout, and even a special collaboration with Cyberpunk 2077.
All of this reinforces the developers’ goal: to consolidate Arena Breakout Infinite as a solid alternative within the extraction shooter genre, offering strategic freedom and a more competitive environment.
