The rumors about Wolfenstein 3 are back. Following the recent success of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, everything suggests that MachineGames is already focused on the next installment of their most iconic saga. Various reports from Windows Central and Kotaku indicate that the project is underway and that the casting phase has even begun.

The codename associated with the process is “Valkyrie”, and it features professionals from the studio, such as Tom Keegan (performance director) and Emily Schweber (casting director), both linked to previous titles in the saga.

A new character and possible twist in the story

The most interesting information comes from the casting. They are looking for a girl named Sofiya, described as a Ukrainian orphan between 8 and 11 years old who would travel with her adopted dog, Ralph. According to the description, she would establish a bond with William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, the historic protagonist of the saga.

This detail suggests that in this new installment, B.J. could take on a more protective role, adding a different dimension to the classic Nazi hunt that defines the franchise. It is not confirmed if Sofiya has a direct relationship with Zofia Blazkowicz, the protagonist’s mother, but the similarity in names has sparked speculation.

The document also indicates that motion capture would begin in April, with sessions planned until the end of 2026 and even 2027, which suggests that production is already advanced but still far from release.

For now, there is no official announcement from Bethesda Softworks, but everything indicates that the return of Wolfenstein could be taking shape behind the scenes.
