One of the surprises of the last few hours comes from the hand of Bethesda Game Studios. The company has announced on social media that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will have a Physical Deluxe Edition that will be released on October 13, 2025.
The announcement was made in a very peculiar way: with an image inspired by the game’s interface, showing the cover of this new edition accompanied by the release date. However, for now, the exact contents of the box and the platforms on which this special edition will be available have not been revealed.
Oblivion Remastered in Physical Deluxe Format
Oblivion Remastered debuted a few months ago on both PC and Xbox Series, and since then, it has earned a prominent place in the current catalog thanks to the work of Virtuos Studios, responsible for the remastering. The title maintains all the essence of the classic original, but with a complete visual redesign and technical improvements that make it shine in the present.
In addition, the game is part of Xbox Game Pass and is included in the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which allows playing with a single digital purchase on PC and console. Nevertheless, this physical Deluxe edition arrives as an attractive addition for collectors and fans of the saga who prefer to have the title in physical format.
With this move, Bethesda not only celebrates the relevance of one of the most influential RPGs of all time but also responds to the demand of fans who had been asking for a physical version of this re-release. October 13 will be the marked date to add Oblivion to your collection in Deluxe format.
