KARMA: The Dark World now has a release date for Xbox, and it’s coming packed with psychological tension and a visual design that promises to impact. The dystopian horror game developed by Pollard Studio will debut on Xbox Series on September 10, 2025, including an exclusive feature for the Microsoft console.
To accompany the announcement, its developers have released a new trailer focused on the Xbox version, where we can see part of the journey that players will face in this experience built with Unreal Engine 5, and which promises to leave a mark on those who dare to enter its most unsettling scenarios.
A new trailer and an exclusive camera only on Xbox
The Xbox Series version will include an exclusive filter in photo mode with a green tone, designed to accentuate the sickly and decadent tone of the world of KARMA: The Dark World. This filter will not be available on other platforms and has been specifically designed to take advantage of the console’s ambiance and visual style.
Inspired by the works of David Lynch (Twin Peaks), Hideo Kojima, and Christopher Nolan, the game combines elements of psychological horror, dystopian thriller, and mental exploration, putting the player in the shoes of an investigator who delves into the distorted memories of their targets. Everything is designed to make the player feel uncomfortable, and that’s precisely the game’s greatest appeal.
