We’ve just entered the month of October, getting closer and closer to the arrival of the new year, although before that, we’ll have to go through the rest of the big releases that companies have in store for this final stretch of 2025.
In addition to new games, these months will continue to bring new content for titles that have been on the market for a long time and are still active, with examples like the case of PayDay 3, the latest installment in one of the most well-known FPS sagas.
PayDay 3 Won’t Have an Offline Mode
This title was released at the end of 2023 and was one of the biggest disappointments remembered, with a launch marred by a deplorable state of the game, in addition to a notable lack of content.
During the past year, it was mentioned by the developers that PayDay 3 would have less support, and it’s clear that this is the case, since it has been officially confirmed that the offline mode that was in development will no longer be pursued, in order to focus on other things.
“Well, the offline mode. Let’s talk about that. I know the team had good intentions, no doubt. And they’ve been trying to make it happen, but I think we need to face the reality that it’s not viable for the future we have with the game.”
It’s a shame that PayDay 3 has been such a huge failure that it’s had to abandon the development of a highly requested feature, so we’ll continue to be on the lookout for any news that manages to come to fruition and is officially added.
