The Call of Duty League (CDL) has officially revealed its calendar for the 2026 season, and fans are already on the edge of their seats. The new season will kick off on December 5 with a premiere weekend, but the most exciting aspect is the Major tournaments that will take place in three different countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, before culminating in the grand finale, the COD Champs, which will be held in Las Vegas from July 16 to 19.
- One of the most notable details is the international expansion of the CDL, which for the first time will bring its competitions to Birmingham (UK) and Paris (France), in addition to the traditional events in the US, such as the Major I in Dallas (January 29 – February 1) and the Major III at DreamHack Atlanta (May, date to be confirmed).
The Major II at DreamHack UK (March 27-29) and the Major IV in Paris (June 25-28) have also been confirmed to include teams outside of the CDL’s main structure, giving them the opportunity to shine on the competitive stage. Additionally, the Major III in Atlanta will be a Pro-Am event, mixing professionals and amateurs in a unique competition.
No sign of Spain, for now…
Last season was marked by the absolute dominance of OpTic Texas, which not only won the CDL championship but also won the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, solidifying its position as one of the most legendary teams in Call of Duty history.
Now, with the Major I in Dallas at the end of January, all eyes will be on whether they can maintain their winning streak at home. However, with the new competition formats and the increased participation of Challenger teams, this season promises to be more unpredictable than ever.
The complete calendar for the 2026 CDL is as follows:
- Premiere weekend: December 5-7.
- Major I (Dallas, Texas): January 29 – February 1.
- Major II (DreamHack UK, Birmingham): March 27-29.
- Minor I: April 24-26.
- Major III (DreamHack Atlanta, Pro-Am): May (date to be confirmed).
- Minor II: June 5-7.
- Major IV (Paris, France): June 25-28.
- COD Champs (Las Vegas, Nevada): July 16-19.
With a season that promises more competition, more geographical diversity, and more opportunities for new talent, the Call of Duty League 2026 could be the most powerful one yet.
