We got excited the day we learned about its existence and the title from Strange Scaffold will finally arrive on Microsoft’s next-gen consoles on August 14th. The title was already released on Steam in May and has achieved a very good score on Metacritic, despite the genre being far from what the characters are used to.
The inclusion of the game in Xbox’s lineup will also bring a new mode called Remix Mod, which includes higher difficulty, new enemy types, and different configuration options for the characters’ arsenal.
Turtles in a new world
Away from the platforms and beat ’em up that characterized them, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown puts the turtles in a turn-based strategy title with 20 levels that they will have to navigate using different strategies and unique abilities.
The game’s story shows the turtles having already passed adolescence, in a world where both Splinter and Shredder have died, but where the Foot Clan is still alive and trying to take over the planet as it always has.
