Grand Theft Auto VI is back in the spotlight, much like almost every week. With no new trailers or official announcements from Rockstar, a movement detected in the PlayStation Store’s backend has sparked speculation about the possible imminent opening of pre-orders and price announcement.
The alert comes from the specialized account PlayStation Game Size, known for tracking internal changes in Sony’s database. According to them, the game’s ID is already listed in the system, a step that usually precedes the activation of the public page, available editions, and official price.
GTA 6 may announce its price and pre-orders soon
The calendar also fits with this movement. The release is scheduled for November 2026, and although Rockstar hasn’t published new material since the second delay confirmed in November 2025, the time is starting to align for digital pre-orders to go live.
For reference, Red Dead Redemption 2 opened its digital pre-orders in June 2018 for a release in October of the same year, meaning about four months in advance. If Rockstar repeats this strategy, it would still be early, but the registration in the database suggests that something might be moving.
For now, there is no official confirmation about the price or possible special editions. However, this type of change usually doesn’t happen without a reason. If pre-orders are confirmed, it will likely be accompanied by new information from Rockstar. And with GTA 6 on the horizon, any small detail becomes news.
