Dave the Diver is a real showstopper, and what makes it even better is the wealth of additional content and crossovers it has received since its release, including this one that brings us together today, which features one of the most iconic monsters of all time and a staple of modern pop culture: the one and only Godzilla.
Last year, the DLC was given away to celebrate the character’s 70th anniversary, but it was only available for a limited time, and many fans missed out. The good news is that it’s back, and it will be available for a very long time, specifically until next December, although we recommend grabbing it as soon as possible because the content is really top-notch, especially if you’re a fan of the legendary monster from the depths of Japanese waters.
Those kaijus we never want to forget…
You can get the content on PC from Steam or through the Epic Games Store, although keep in mind that you need to have the base game on either platform, which we also recommend because the title is really great, even if it’s a shame it hasn’t made its way to Xbox… yet. As they say, hope is the last thing to be lost, right?
In this additional content, players will be able to visit the depths of The Blue Hole to meet a mutant lobster named Ebirah, who has fought and injured Godzilla, leading it to Dave’s territory. The DLC includes a new character, Miki, who will be the driving force behind the story, and features a few additional objectives, all of which are very specific and lead to an epic battle between two kaijus that’s really exciting to watch. Also, remember that the crossover with Dredge is also available for free, indefinitely, and if you’re wondering what Dredge is, we invite you to check out our review right here and try it out for yourself, as it’s part of the Game Pass catalog.
