We’ve already passed the midpoint of July, and with that, we’re continuing through the summer weeks, a relatively quiet period where major releases are scarce and we barely see any new arrivals on the market, except for the occasional small game.
What we do expect, however, is for new content to keep coming for games that are already active on the market and still maintain a strong presence alongside their player communities, with Empire of the Ants being one of the best examples.
Empire of the Ants Receives New Game Modes
This title was one of the ones that saw the light of day in the final stretch of 2024, although it managed to grab attention from the moment it was announced due to its highly original proposal.
Empire of the Ants promised that this 2025 would bring significant updates, and a few hours ago, the major free update called “Swarm Together” was launched, adding several game modes, including co-op, horde mode, and a challenge-focused mode, all of which can be seen in the gameplay trailer published on YouTube.
Empire of the Ants is one of the most original titles we have right now, and we hope it continues to add new content and updates for a long time, which we’ll be keeping a close eye on.
