Steam continues to expand its free catalog and, in the midst of December, three very different proposals arrive that you can add to your library right now. They are small, direct games perfect for trying something new without commitment, ideal for both quick sessions and couch sharing during the holidays.

• Slash – Download
  Pixel art arcade game focused on high scores. You use a customizable weapon —from knives to laser swords— to cut down projectiles falling from above. It includes an internal economy to unlock styles and upgrades, inviting you to repeat plays and climb the rankings.
