With the recent release of Silent Hill f, all eyes are now on the projects that Konami still has in the works. Among them is Silent Hill Townfall, a title that’s making waves again after a new leak supposedly reveals its gameplay proposal and potential release date.
The information comes from Biohazard Ultimate, a portal that claims to have accessed internal data on the spin-off. Although there’s no official confirmation, the leak has sparked debate about this enigmatic installment in the series.
Rumors about Silent Hill Townfall’s gameplay
According to these leaks, Silent Hill Townfall is planned as an episodic game, where each chapter would explore ghost stories in different locations, from small towns to a deserted beach.
- The gameplay style would be similar to The Short Message, the free experience released on PlayStation 5. In this sense, the title would focus on first-person exploration, without direct combat or inventory management. The player would need to analyze environments, solve small puzzles, and escape from threats, rather than confronting them in a traditional way.
Release date and expected platforms
As for its release, the report only mentions a vague 2026, without specifying a more precise date. The target platforms would be Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC, with no references to versions for previous consoles.
For now, this is a rumor that should be taken with caution. Nevertheless, the fact that Annapurna Interactive and No Code are behind the project has generated significant excitement, as both studios have experience with experimental and atmospheric proposals.
