Retro Classics adds 7 new free games with Game Pass

A new batch of retro games has just been added to Xbox Game Pass this July, in a bid to revive authentic gems from the past for the service’s subscribers. On this occasion, the selection spans from mythical titles on Amiga and MS-DOS to cult classics on Atari 2600, covering over two decades of video game history.

These additions are part of the “Retro Classics” line and are available at no extra cost to Xbox Game Pass users, on both console and PC, depending on each title. It’s a varied collection that includes strategy, graphic adventures, arcade action, and platformers, in fully playable versions today.

New retro games on Xbox Game Pass this month

This is the complete list of the seven titles you can try out in July 2025:

• Caesar – Amiga (1992)
• Conquests of Camelot: The Search for the Grail – Amiga (1990)
• Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers – MS-DOS (1993)
• Hard Head – Atari 2600 (1983)
• Okie Dokie – Atari 2600 (1996)
• Skate Boardin’ – Atari 2600 (1987)
• Skeleton+ – Atari 2600 (2003)

As you can see, some titles come from systems that are quite unusual today, such as Amiga or Atari 2600, but they have been adapted to play smoothly and without complications on modern platforms. Gabriel Knight, for example, is one of the most remembered titles from Sierra on PC, and now anyone can discover it (or replay it) in its original form.
