Now that February is underway, it’s a good time to revisit some information that was confirmed months ago and is now entering its final stretch. Project CARS 3 will be shutting down its online servers on February 24, 2026, putting an end to all of the game’s connected features.

The decision was officially announced in August 2025, coinciding with the game’s removal from digital stores. Since then, the timeline hasn’t changed, but the passage of time has made many players wonder how much longer they have to enjoy the game’s online aspect. As of today, the answer is clear: there’s less than a month left.
Project CARS 3 server shutdown in weeks
Until February 24, all online modes will remain active as usual. This includes online races, multiplayer competitions, and any feature that relies on the official servers. After that date, online access will be permanently disabled, with no possibility of return.
The shutdown doesn’t affect offline content. Single-player modes, championships, and the rest of the game’s offline features will remain fully playable as long as the game is installed on the console or PC. In that sense, Project CARS 3 won’t be rendered useless, although its experience will be reduced to solo play only.
This reminder is especially relevant for those who still have the game on their to-do list or want to make the most of their last few weeks of online competition. With the game already removed from digital sales since last summer, the time to enjoy its multiplayer is clearly running out, and February marks the final deadline.
