Kick off a new month and, as usual, Xbox Game Pass starts receiving the first games of August for console, PC, and cloud. Microsoft has already confirmed the new additions for the first half of the month, and they come with very varied proposals: from recent releases to experiences that join the service’s catalog for the first time.

Some of these games will be available from the day of their release, while others will arrive to expand the catalog with highly demanded genres by the community. Whether you play on Xbox Series, PC, or directly from the cloud, you’ll have new options to enjoy in the coming days.

Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for the first half of August

• Rain World (August 5) – Already available on console, PC, and cloud for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard.

• Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (August 6) – Available Day One on Xbox Series with Game Pass Standard.

• Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (August 6) – Available Day One on Xbox Series with Game Pass Standard.

• MechWarrior 5: Clans (August 6) – Available Day One on Xbox Series with Game Pass Standard.

• Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (August 6) – Available Day One on Xbox Series with Game Pass Standard.

• Assassin’s Creed Mirage (August 7) – Joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Cloud.

• Aliens: Fireteam Elite (August 12) – Returns to the service on console, PC, and cloud for all subscriptions.

• 9 Kings (Game Preview) (August 14) – Available on PC with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

As always, you can download them directly from the Game Pass app or play them in streaming if they’re compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming. They’ll also be available with early access for those using the mobile app on Android devices or via browser.
