We’ve already entered the final stretch of December, and with it, we’re counting down the days to bid farewell to 2025, a year that’s been incredibly eventful in the video game industry, leaving us with incredible gems like Hollow Knight: Silksong or Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG with an absolutely stunning aspect that’s taken the GOTY award this year.
We’re not expecting any more major releases before entering 2026, but this month will bring significant updates and new features to games that have been active in the market for a long time, with Prehistoric Kingdom being one of the best examples.
Prehistoric Kingdom ends the year with a new update
This title was released on PC a few years ago in early access form, and since then, we’ve seen it updated numerous times with important improvements and new content.
Prehistoric Kingdom is ending 2025 on a high note with its 16th update, which adds new species to our prehistoric park and many improvements and additions, something we can see in detail in the trailer published on the game’s official YouTube channel on YouTube.

There’s still no clear information about the 1.0 patch for Prehistoric Kingdom, but we hope it will arrive at some point in 2026, something we’ll be keeping a close eye on.
