After making an appearance at the recent Summer Game Fest, Onimusha: Way of the Sword has returned at the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2025, confirming that the project is still moving forward and that Capcom wants to keep it in the spotlight for gamers. The new trailer combines cinematic scenes and gameplay, allowing us to see the protagonist Miyamoto Musashi in action as he faces off against a wide variety of Genma monsters.

Among the enemies shown, one of the most attention-grabbing is an enigmatic masked woman with an elongated neck, who appears to be one of the most intimidating battles in the game.
