Capcom is once again revisiting one of its classics and does so with a move that many fans have been waiting for: a free demo for anyone to try out the remastered version. The company has made the starting point of the adventure accessible to all, ideal for both those who enjoyed the original and those who are new to this story set in feudal Japan.
This trial comes at a particularly opportune moment, with discounts active on several platforms and significant changes in the PC version. Thus, the path to the new edition is more accessible and with a good incentive to revisit the saga.

It can be tried for free right now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). The demo allows players to experience the early sections of Jubei Yagyu’s adventure, with its updated combat system and a more defined visual presentation that modernizes the 2002 original.
This version comes with improved textures, new lighting, autosave, a gallery with over 100 illustrations, and various minigames unlocked from the start. Additionally, it includes the hell mode, designed for those seeking a much more challenging experience.
