The Steam store has added another free title to its catalog for those who enjoy intense matches with friends or strangers. We’re talking about Castle of Blackwater, a social deduction multiplayer game with a magical aesthetic and supernatural touches that can now be downloaded for free in its PC version. It’s not a temporary promotion: the game has become Free-to-Play.

Developed with a strong focus on online matches and team strategy, Castle of Blackwater allows matches of up to 10 players with integrated voice and text chat, and offers a wide variety of skills, mini-games, and mechanics that recall classics of the genre like Among Us, but with a darker and more complex style.

In each match, players are divided into three factions:

• Protectors: must collaborate, complete tasks, and uncover hidden enemies.

• Satanic: their goal is to deceive, manipulate, and eliminate without arousing suspicion.

Additionally, it includes over 10 unique characters with special abilities —from mind-reading to transforming into a werewolf—, over 20 different mini-games, over 200 cosmetic items, and a game system where the dead can still influence the final outcome.
