Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will officially open its pre-orders on October 29th, in US time. Additionally, the company will take advantage of that same day to release a new video dedicated to the entire Resident Evil franchise, although it has clarified that it will not include new gameplay from the upcoming title.
The announcement comes with a brief message inviting fans to “keep their eyes peeled“, suggesting that the promotional campaign for Resident Evil Requiem is about to kick off. After its official presentation a few months ago, the project has generated enormous expectation due to its darker tone and the return of some classic elements from the series, as we told you in our preview.
Resident Evil Requiem pre-orders open on October 29th
This new installment will focus on a more classic horror experience, recovering exploration, resource management, and the constant feeling of vulnerability that characterizes the series. Fans can expect a more closed narrative and an atmosphere that combines the best of Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7, with new characters and unprecedented biological threats.
Capcom promises to share more information during the event on October 29th, which will serve as the starting point for the final promotional stretch before the release. The horror has a date: February 2026. Resident Evil Requiem is preparing to bring us back to fear in its purest form.
