Lenovo has announced the next title in its gift program, and this time it’s a true must-have in the genre. The acclaimed Frostpunk will be available for free on Steam starting November 12th, through a digital raffle that will give away Steam keys for a limited time.

The promotion will start at 7:00 PM (Peninsular time) on Wednesday, November 12th, and all you need is an active account on Lenovo and another on Gamesplanet, where the key exchange will take place. There is no time limit to participate, although the available units will be limited.

How to get Frostpunk for free on Steam

To claim the game, users will need to access the official Lenovo DROPS website on the day of the event and log in in advance. Once the key is obtained, it can be redeemed directly on Gamesplanet, and from there, get the corresponding Steam code to download the game on PC or Mac.

Frostpunk, developed by 11 bit studios, is a masterpiece of strategy and social survival. The player takes on the role of leader of the last city on Earth, forced to resist an eternal winter with the few remaining resources. Every moral and political decision affects the fate of the inhabitants, combining management, exploration, and high-impact ethical dilemmas.

1. Create your accounts

• Register or log in to Lenovo Gaming.

• Also, create an account on Gamesplanet (it’s free and necessary to redeem the key).

2. Connect before the event

• The raffle will be activated on November 12th, 2025, at 7:00 PM (Peninsular Spanish time).

• Log in to your Lenovo account a few minutes before to have more options to get a key, since units are limited.

3. Claim the Frostpunk coupon

• When the event starts, a “Claim Frostpunk Key” button will appear.

• Click to get your redemption coupon.

• If the keys run out, the website will display “out of stock”.

4. Redeem the coupon on Gamesplanet

• Once you get your coupon, enter Gamesplanet.

• Log in and select “Redeem Coupon”.

• Enter the code received from Lenovo.

5. Get your Steam key and download it

• After redeeming the coupon, Gamesplanet will show you your Steam key.

• Copy it, enter Steam, and select “Add a product” → “Activate a product on Steam”.

• Paste the key, and the game will be linked to your library forever.
