Starfield continues to receive improvements from Bethesda, and as of today, a new beta update is available on Steam, introducing minor adjustments and general fixes. This new patch focuses on enhancing the Creations menu, resolving some visual issues, and applying stability improvements that affect the game’s overall performance.
This patch does not include new content, but it is part of Bethesda’s preparations for future, larger updates. The company has announced that they will “soon share news about the exciting things they are preparing for Starfield,” so it’s expected that there will be more movement in the coming months.
Starfield Updates on PC with Visual and Stability Improvements
Here are the main fixes included in update 1.13.50.0 (Steam Beta):
- Minor formatting and display adjustments in the Creations menu.
- Fix for an issue that caused the extreme temperature protection gear to be displayed incorrectly.
- Improvements to mission menu organization.
- General bug fixes and stability improvements.
To try out this beta version on Steam, simply follow these steps:
- Open your Steam library and search for Starfield.
- Right-click on the game and select “Properties.”
- Go to the “Betas” tab and select the “[beta]” option from the dropdown menu.
- Wait for the new patch to download and launch the game.
Although this version is currently only available on PC, it’s expected to arrive on Xbox consoles once testing is complete.
