Battlefield 6 continues to refine its experience with the update 1.1.3.5, a compact patch focused on polishing specific aspects of the game. DICE and EA have opted this time for consistency, response, and stability improvements, addressing several points highlighted by the community in recent weeks.
The update will be available on Tuesday, January 20th at 10:00 AM (Spanish mainland time) and will arrive on all platforms. It doesn’t introduce new content, but rather a series of adjustments that directly impact the pace of matches and visual clarity on screen.
Main changes in the 1.1.3.5 patch for Battlefield 6
The focus of the patch is clear: improve sensations, prevent erratic behavior, and balance situations that disrupted the game flow. These are the most relevant updates:
Close combat
-
Faster speed and response in knife and club attacks.
-
Improved management of the attack “buffer” to prevent registration failures.
-
Sprinting is now only interrupted until the attack lands, not throughout the entire animation.
-
More consistent melee damage against enemies and the environment.
Aerial combat and vehicles
-
Reduced damage from jet cannons against other aircraft: now it takes approximately 40% more hits to down jets and helicopters.
-
Fixed a bug where some vehicles would explode when performing executions on prone soldiers.
Weapons and accessories
-
Corrections to optics, cannons, and stats that were not reflected correctly in the equipment.
-
Adjustments to the bipod’s behavior based on the controller configuration.
-
Improved consistency of recoil when playing with a controller.
-
Silencers now show a slight flash only at close range.
Stairs and mobility
-
Fixed errors when accessing stairs above the player.
-
Smother climbing animations without unexpected character launches.
Interface, HUD, and visibility
-
New option to customize the color of the reticle in scopes and compatible gadgets.
-
Improved visibility of the armor bar.
-
Corrections to menus, weapon stats, and front-end navigation.
-
Lighting adjustments to improve the appearance of soldiers in menus.
Specific modes
-
Battle Royale: fixed errors that caused the armor bar to disappear.
-
Gauntlet: solved critical issues with drones and quick equipment editing.
-
REDSEC: movement and coherence adjustments with standard multiplayer.
EA has reminded that these changes are part of the game’s ongoing monitoring and that the patch may continue to be adjusted based on community feedback, keeping the roadmap active over the next few months.
