This June ends with an update focused on polishing one of the most demanding titles in the catalog. The team has been analyzing hundreds of hours of recorded gameplay and reviewing community comments to resolve errors, improve behaviors, and refine important details of the gaming experience.
The version published today includes specific improvements for Xbox and PlayStation 5 consoles, while the PC version has been delayed due to performance issues detected during testing. The update will arrive later on computers, although there is still no specific date for its deployment.
MindsEye Update 1.0.25 Now Available on Xbox Series and PS5
The patch takes up 8.6 GB on Xbox Series and focuses on three major pillars: stability, AI behavior, and player response in combat and exploration. The frequency of crashes during long sessions has been reduced, errors related to cover, stairs, and transitions have been corrected, and the response to shooting from and towards vehicles has been refined.
Adjustments have also been made to the overall difficulty, increasing the accuracy of enemies at all levels and reducing damage filtering in medium difficulty. Animations during life scenes and transitions have been smoothed out, and issues with NPC behavior, both in combat and during specific missions, have been fixed.
Among other important changes:
-
Improvements to vehicle and destruction sound effects, including glass breaking.
-
Visual fixes in environments, reflections, weather, and premium item textures.
-
Mission error corrections that prevented progress or caused inconsistent restarts.
-
Solution to animation, collision, and enemy reaction errors.
-
Improvement in failure conditions for missions like Clash of the Egos, This Means War, or The Mole.
In Xbox Series, vibration has also been added to the controller in drone flight sequences, and an error where Skycar occupants were left floating in first-person view has been corrected. The PlayStation 5 version also received lighting adjustments in cinematics.
MindsEye continues to receive active support from the studio, which confirms its intention to maintain periodic updates. The PC version will receive this same patch once the performance issue detected in internal testing is resolved.
