Among the highlights of this update are deep adjustments to the C.A.M.P. system, such as smoother navigation, improved scheme management, and visual corrections for objects that previously appeared floating or misaligned. The help and construction menus have also been revised, now showing more accurate information and more stable use with a controller or mouse.
In terms of combat, Bethesda has implemented significant changes to status effects, especially ice damage, which now slows down and progressively exhausts action points. Mutations, enemy balance, extra abilities, and power armor behavior have been revised.
Changes to Weapons, Extras, and Events
- The development team has adjusted a long list of legendary modules and effects, including corrections to damage, bonuses, and animations. They have also updated translated object names, improved overall performance, and solved visual and collision errors in Appalachia.
- Regarding events, The Great Blossom and Mischief Night have received performance improvements, new loot, and adjustments to challenges. Additionally, the user interface (UI) has been optimized to correctly display damage figures and accuracy in V.A.T.S.
