ASUS’ gaming-focused laptops for PC and Xbox ecosystem are getting closer to their release. With the launch scheduled for October 16, 2025, the biggest question mark was their price. Now, a leak from Best Buy’s promotional material points to what could be the final prices.

According to content creator Destin, who claims to have received the information from a contact at the US retailer, the ASUS ROG Ally would have a price of $549.99, while the ROG Ally X, the more advanced model, would reach $899.99.
Leaked prices for ASUS ROG Ally and Ally X
These figures match what was published weeks ago by renowned European leaker Billbil-kun on Dealabs, where it was already mentioned that the ROG Ally would cost €599 and the ROG Ally X would cost €899 in Europe. The only notable difference would be that the base model would have a slight premium in Europe compared to the direct conversion, which is common in this type of launch.
This could mean that the company is waiting until the last minute to adjust prices to the reality of each region and avoid possible criticism for direct comparisons between markets. It also reinforces the idea that, although the leaked prices seem credible, they should not be considered definitive until there is an official announcement.
Despite the leaks going in the same direction and seeming quite solid, Microsoft and ASUS have not yet started the reservation campaign or officially confirmed the prices. We will have to wait for the next few days to see if all doubts are finally cleared up. What is confirmed is that the new laptops will arrive in October with high-end specs, although without the expected OLED screen.
