It’s been just over a month since the release of MindsEye, and the studio is continuing to refine its offering with the help of the community. Throughout June and July, the game has received three patches focused on fixing bugs and improving overall stability, but the developers have already teased what’s to come starting in August.
In the statement released this week, it’s confirmed that cross-content with Hitman won’t be arriving for now, but several highly anticipated features will be introduced, including accessibility improvements, reduced wait times, and adjustments to user-generated content.
MindsEye’s next updates will arrive in August and September
Update 4 will land in August on Xbox, PS5, and PC, and will include advancements such as the ability to skip cinematics when restarting from checkpoints and instant access to content published by other players on the PC version. These changes aim to facilitate the experience for those who repeat levels or enjoy community-created challenges.
Meanwhile, update 5 is slated for September and will bring additional improvements to both performance and gameplay systems. The team has also promised to continue refining the core mechanics and optimizing the overall experience across all platforms.
Although the frequency of patches will be more spaced out from now on, the developers assure that each one will include more significant improvements. In the meantime, MindsEye remains available on Xbox, PS5, and PC, and the studio invites players to continue sending suggestions and reports to improve the game.
