Microsoft has made an unusual decision within the realm of mods. The company has forced the removal of Project Misriah, an ambitious mod for Counter-Strike 2 that aimed to bring the multiplayer experience of Halo 3 to the popular Valve shooter.

A curious detail is that, according to the developer, the notice was managed through an automated system, appearing as sent by “Tracer, on behalf of Microsoft Corporation“.
