March is shaping up to be an exciting month for Xbox. Following a packed February, the calendar is once again filled with diverse offerings: cult classic remasters, highly anticipated sequels, ambitious shooters, and several titles that will land directly on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Essential March releases on Xbox Series and Game Pass
March 2-5: a strong start

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered (March 2) kicks off the month by reviving a classic for Xbox Series and Xbox One.

March 5 is a busy day, with Coffee Talk Tokyo, Marathon, Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse, and Planet of Lana II all launching, the latter of which will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one for console, PC, and cloud.
In particular, Planet of Lana II is shaping up to be one of the most attractive releases of the month within the service.
March 12-17: a hardcore week
On March 12, titles like Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly Remake, GreedFall 2: The Dying World, R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos, and Toxic Commando will arrive.
A day later, on March 13, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and WWE 2K26 will land, two very different but promising proposals.
