Mafia: The Old Country will receive the Free Ride mode for free in an upcoming update

The 2K title will add an option that will allow to travel its world with new secondary activities.

The developers of Mafia: The Old Country (Hangar 13) want to celebrate the excellent sales figures with an announcement that will delight their fans: the game will soon add a completely free Free Ride mode.

This new option should not be confused with the current exploration mode, which is unlocked by completing the main story and allows you to move freely around the map to find collectibles. The Free Ride will go a step further, approaching the open-world experience of previous installments, although in this case, it’s a “open map” due to the limited extent of the scenario.

With this update, it will be possible to explore the city at your leisure and participate in secondary activities, whose specific details have not yet been revealed. The developers plan to show more information about these special tasks as the patch’s release approaches.
