One of the things for which the game is criticized is for its continuism and lack of innovation, although we believe that it still remains a pleasant experience.

The first reviews of Little Nightmares III have started to emerge, and although fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for this installment, the comments so far have not been what was expected. The Little Nightmares series has been characterized by its dark atmosphere and challenging gameplay, which has attracted a loyal player base.
However, it seems that this new installment has not managed to convince all critics with its formula. Some of the points that have been criticized include the lack of innovation in its gameplay and the feeling that the game does not offer anything significantly new compared to its predecessors.
Little Nightmares III Stumbles with Critics
Although the series has been praised for its ability to create an unsettling and frightening atmosphere, Little Nightmares III seems to have failed to surprise critics in this aspect. The series has been known for its ability to tell stories through atmosphere and environment, but the lack of risk and innovation has taken its toll.
I know, we can’t rely on reviews and the most recommended thing is to play, experience for yourself what the game has to offer and understand what the developers wanted to provide. As I always mention, the ideal is for the player to have control and draw their own conclusions.
Try Hard Guides 100/100
Little Nightmares 3 maintains its franchise’s place at the top of the genre, being tense, attractive, and deeply immersive with its macabre world. The addition of cooperative mode is a great addition to the series, while also offering an excellent solo experience, if you choose to play it that way.
Screen Rant 80/100
The gaming industry is in a better place with more atmospheric horror titles like Little Nightmares 3.
XboxEra 70/100
Were it not for some of the issues I encountered, Little Nightmares 3 would be a solid continuation of the Supermassive Games franchise. While it doesn’t reach the narrative or atmosphere of Little Nightmares 2, it brings new and ingenious ideas, two-player cooperative mode, and offers another wonderfully immersive experience.
PC Gamer 67/100
Little Nightmares 3 adds a welcome online cooperative mode and some new and strange environments, but the series’ formula is getting a bit stale.
The Gamer 50/100
Little Nightmares 3 is fine, but I’d be lying if I said it lived up to the name of the series or managed to take it somewhere worthwhile. Supermassive never quite reaches what made Little Nightmares so unique and frightening.
In the end, we get a current average of 73/100, although there’s still a lot to come, and despite being a continuation, we don’t rule out that it could be a good short experience to enjoy. Wait for our analysis on Generación Xbox soon.
